A Mother’s Intuition: The Unseen Beacon in Our Storm

In the sudden stillness that follows upheaval, there’s a voice that pierces through—a mother’s intuition. On that fateful day, as my wife neared the accident site and saw the flashing lights, her call to me was more than just an exchange of words; it was a revelation. She knew, with a certainty that defies logic, that our world was about to change. And it did, in the time it took for a phone to ring.

But amidst the whirlwind that followed, one thing remained steadfast: the resolve of an extraordinary mother. She has always been the one who, instinctively, puts the welfare of our children above all else, even when the weight of such decisions is almost too much to bear. She knew that day, as she has always known, that we would be their protectors, their safe harbor in any storm.

As I write this update, I’m reminded that the strength of a family often stems from the quiet power of a mother’s love and intuition. It’s been this unspoken understanding, this fierce maternal spirit, that has guided us through the darkest hours and into the light of the better days we’re beginning to see.

Even today, as she bravely leads our journey in Colorado with our daughter, her path is undoubtedly the most challenging. She humbly refers to herself as the support staff, but to us, she is the leader of our great family. And I find myself, more often than not, in the role of support staff to her indomitable strength.

Our journey is far from over, but each step forward is a testament to her unwavering spirit. She is the unsung hero in our story, the compass consistently pointing us toward hope, toward home, no matter how far we seem to stray.

To my wife, the heart of our family, and to all the mothers who stand as the unyielding pillars in their own families—thank you. Your intuition is the light that no darkness can dim.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Craig – alongside Jennifer, Bryce, Brody, and our brave Brooks and Lauren
